- General
- a) Registrations must comply with all of these Terms and Conditions to be valid.
- b) By registering on the vanuatuspecialists.com website, the registered person agrees to be bound by these Official Rules
- c) Any questions, comments or complaints can be directed to Vanuatu Tourism Office Australia Representative – GTI Tourism.
- Promoter
- a) The Promoter is GTI Tourism ABN 87 122 809 974, 10 Boronia Street, Redfern, NSW, 2016. Phone +61 02 8077 3552.
- Eligibility
- a) Registration is free and open to any travel consultant 18 years of age or older.
- b) Entrants must be Australian permanent residents.
- c) Anyone who does not qualify to register is not eligible to conduct the training and have access to any of the targeted events, incentives and special offers which are only available for registered travel agents in Australia.
- d) The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address, travel agent registration and any other information relevant. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final.
- e) The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this website.
- f) Any costs associated with accessing the website/application is the registered person’s responsibility and are dependent on the internet service provider used.
- g) Employees of the Promoter and/or its related companies and/or any agencies associated with the website, are not eligible to participate in the training to win any competitions associated. “Immediate family” means spouse, de facto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural, or adopted by a parent), whether or not they live in the same household as the employee. Residents of Vanuatu are also not eligible to enter.
- 4. Current Agent Incentive (Aug 2019)
- a) Incentive runs from 24 August 2019 – 16 September 2019.
- b) Australian agents (based in Australia) are eligible only.
- c) There are eight winners, with agents winning one of eight places on the November 2019 famil.
- d) For agents to enter, they must have completed all eight training modules, ticket NF for a 2020 departure, and complete the entry form, indicating in 25 words or less what their ultimate Vanuatu moment would be
- e) Agents must ticket Air Vanuatu on NF stock with NF code for a departure ex. Australia in 2020, and must have ticketed the booking by 16 September 2019
- g) VTO will cover flight taxes.
- h) Travel to MEL, SYD or BNE from winner’s hometown is at winner’s own expense.
4.1 Judging
- a) The winners (Current Agent Incentive outlined in clause 4) to win a spot on the famil will have successfully completed all five training modules and completed the form
- b) The decision will be made by 26 September at 10 Boronia Street, Redfern, NSW, 2016
- c) The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry, which is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
4.2 Cheating, Abuse and Disorderly Behaviour
- a) Any Entrant may be disqualified from this Competition at the discretion of the Promoter for any failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions or cheating in any way such as
- i) Using any cheats, hacks or other 3rd party “helper” applications or “bots” to simulate human interaction.
ii)Using fraudulent information or using multiple alias’ to multiple times
4.3. Winner Notification
- a) The decision will be made by 12 April 2019 (as outlined in Section 4.1 ‘Judging’) and the winner(s) will be notified by email.
- b) Once notified (via the email address supplied at point of entry), the winner will have 7 calendar days to reply with acceptance of their prize. Should the selected winner not reply within 7 days of being notified, or decide not to accept the prize, then it will be deemed that the prize winner has forfeited their prize and a new winner will be selected. Same rules will apply for the new winner (should this scenario occur). If after a further 7 days there has been no acceptance notification received, then the prize will be cancelled.
4.4. Prizes
- The prize includes:
- a) One of four spots on November 2019 famil to Vanuatu
- b) The prize winner is responsible any other incidental expenses as a result of using this prize that are not covered by famil (may include accommodation, transfers, meals, taxes, insurance, bonds, mini bar, telephone charges, laundry).
- c) The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable and non-redeemable for cash. The prize cannot be used to purchase gift certificates or lay-buys nor can they be re-sold. The prize must be taken as offered. No modifications or exchanges will be possible. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value, performance or availability of any prize.
- d) In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time agreed by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by that winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.
- e) Once the prizes have been arranged by the Promoter, changes to the travel, must be made by and are at the expense of the winner.
- f) The prize cannot be on-sold on auction websites, classifieds or by any other method of re-sale.
- g) The prize cannot be used for any other promotions/competitions.
- 5. Publicity Release, Use of Personal Information
- a) The Promoter will collect information (including personal information) from all entries and use it for the purposes of the Competition and for its purposes. Entrants consent to the Promoter disclosing information, including personal information, to third parties for the purposes of the Competition.
- b) The Promoter is not responsible or liable in any manner for any content or materials posted in relation to this Competition.
- c) The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches. If such problems arise, then the Promoter may modify the Competition.
- d) The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality/suitability of any of the goods or services offered as prizes. The Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by it, or its agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services connected with this Competition.
- e) The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered by any registered Entrant or winner (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking any prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
- f) If this Competition(as a result of the completed training) is not capable of running as planned due to any reason, including unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Competition, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) in its sole discretion to cancel the Competition or to disqualify any individual who has tampered with the entry process.
- 6. Exclusion of Liability
- a) By registering on this website each registered person assumes sole liability for any personal injury and/or damage to property caused or claimed to have been caused to him or her as a result of or in connection with participating in any training and/or Competition
- b) These Official Rules do not affect, and are not intended to affect, any rights or remedies a consumer might have, which cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.
